Food Junction Returns with 80s Retro Diner Vibe

Food Junction At Junction 8 returns with an exciting concept that features a refreshing 80s Retro Diner that segues to a Japanese Food Street tucked at the back of the space; a total of 16 new and viral food partners. Welcome to Singapore’s original multi-thematic food atrium, where highlights include the revival of a Food Junction legacy. Back in 1993, Food Junction introduced Singapore’s first individual hot pot dining at a food court setting. Today, Shabu Bar carries on that legacy with Japanese-style shabu-shabu given a fusion twist.

This is also a double celebration, as Food Junction At Junction 8 marks over three decades of Good Eats and Good Beats. The food atrium’s design brings this to life, instantly transporting diners to vibrant 80s Singapore with the charm of an American retro diner complete with a traditional jukebox, vinyl-inspired furnishings, and old-school cushioned booth seating. Even stall employees dress in classic diner uniforms, so every visit feels like stepping back in time. And as you wander deeper into the experiential casual dining space, the scene shifts. Tucked in a cosy corner lies the nostalgic entrance of a traditional Japanese food street, inviting you into an intimate culinary journey.
