Ingleside SG Unveils 'Embers' Tasting Menu on Tras Street

Food lovers, there’s a fascinating culinary story unfolding on Tras Street that you won’t want to miss. Modern European restaurant Ingleside is taking diners on a year-long journey with its “Evolving Elements” series, and its second chapter, “Embers,” is officially here.

From Ignition to Embers

The “Evolving Elements” series is a culinary exploration across three distinct phases. It began with the bright and delicate flavours of “Ignition” and now transitions into the hearty and balanced profile of “Embers,” which runs from July to October. This new chapter focuses on intensifying the use of woodfire, fermentation, and dry-ageing techniques to create dishes with incredible depth and complexity. The series will conclude with the bold and intense “Inferno” from November to February.

The Embers Menu: What to Expect

The “Embers” menu is a multi-sensory experience that engages you from start to finish. The six-course tasting menu is priced at 08++, with an optional wine pairing for an additional 08++.

You can expect standout dishes like:

  • Truffle Toast: A signature dish featuring a deeply rich 16-week aged brioche miso mousse and seasonal black truffles.

  • Flambadou Sawagani Crab: A delicate Japanese mountain stream crab that is flambadou-ed whole for a crunchy, umami-packed bite.

  • Hen of the Woods: A celebration of earthy mushrooms paired with luxurious foie gras and a rare 50-year-old Pedro Ximénez vinaigrette.

  • Icon Wagyu Striploin: The main event is an MBS 8/9 Wagyu striploin, dry-aged for 32 days to develop rich, nutty, and complex flavours.

The experience is highly interactive; guests are invited to smell the unique ferments like scallop garum and can watch the dramatic fire-cooking techniques up close at the chef’s counter.
