New Branch: Gyu San Charcoal Bar - The Forum - Orchard
After getting diners in Tanjong Pagar hooked on its juicy melt-in-your-mouth Japanese wagyu katsu sandos, Gyu San unveils new concept Gyu San Charcoal Bar, a first of its kind in Forum at Orchard Road with fixed hamburgs for your wagyu cravings of all forms and cuts.
Gyu San Charcoal Bar, helmed by Chef Tomoyuki Kiga, excites with latest A5 wagyu hamburg offerings cooked in front of your eyes a la minute from an island charcoal bar. Fired up to juicy goodness over a prized binchotan grill, the hamburgs are perfect to be had with rice topped with onsen egg.
All hamburgs are shaped ball to patty, then grilled over the main binchotan charcoal grill to a slight char before being served to customers on a personal mini grill to keep the meat warm. There is a plethora of eight condiments to choose from, ranging from traditional Japanese yuzu kosho to local Singaporean sambal, adding a range of flavours to enhance the dining experience. Also available are A5 wagyu skewers, serving as the perfect sides to snack on alongside the hamburgs.
