Try these Hokkaido-Ya’s revamped menu! A fast casual eatery, Hokkaido-Ya specialises in North Island and Hokkaido-inspired dishes. Its new menu will regale you with a wide repertoire of donmono, white curry as well as noodle offerings.
A few must-try highlights; The indulgent Salmon Oyako Tartar Don features thick sliced salmon and glistening salmon roe on fluffy sushi rice. The bowl is then finished with a lovely truffle tartar sauce. Just as enticing, the Lobster Salad Bara Chirashi Don sees the impeccable combination of spicy lobster salad and cubed sashimi on sweet, vinegared rice.
Do not miss the Ebi Fry Aburi Mentai Bara Chirashi Don. Deep-fried to golden brown perfection, the gigantic ebi fry spans across the entire bowl. Cubed sashimi is topped with cod roe mayonnaise that delivers a savoury punch, then torched for a smoky hint. There is also the Mazeudon, which is a dry offering. The chewy noodles are crowned with a generous amount of roast pork and crab meat – mix the accompanying sauce and the ingredients together for a superb treat.
Fan favourites such as Shirobuta Pork Katsu Hokkaido White Curry Rice will still be retained in the menu. Mimicking Hokkaido’s snow-clad mountains, the white curry rice comes complete with a juicy Japanese pork cutlet. Cap off the session with the Hokkaido Milk Monaka — a thick block of milk ice cream is sandwiched between two crispy wafers!
