New NDP Menu: Taste Paradise and Paradise Teochew - ION (Orchard)

Over the past five decades, Singapore has earned the reputation of a food paradise, becoming a city known for her eclectic repertoire of traditional and modern cuisines, homespun fare and gourmet dishes.

To celebrate Singapore’s 58th birthday, the chefs of Taste Paradise and Paradise Teochew have crafted an exquisite menu that pays homage to her rich culinary heritage.

The menu mainstays will see the creative use of local favourites. Take for example the Nanyang Kopi-O Honey BBQ Spanish Iberico Pork, injecting a familiar  Singapore flavour on Taste Paradise’s signature dish. Baked over high heat, the succulent meat is perfumed with the robust, full-bodied notes of the timeless coffee. For the Singapore Chilli Crab Wrapped in Egg White Crêpe, fragrant and spiced flesh of the crustacean is cocooned within an airy and delicate crêpe. An ingredient used liberally in Chinese dishes, the black vinegar lends its tang and sharp flavour in the Braised Sliced Irish Fat Duck with Black Vinegar in Casserole. The duck bathes in a tangy and moreish liquid.
