New Restaurant: YEN Social - Duo Galleria - Bugis
YEN Social has launched its lunch service for the first time ever! The sister concept of Michelin-rated yakiniku restaurant YEN Yakiniku, YEN Social is one of Singapore’s pioneers in ageing beef and yakiniku cuts. Its speciality includes the whisky dry-aged wagyu ribeye, prepared using Kavalan single malt whisky imported from Taiwan. Marking a culmination of years of R&D, its brand-new lunch menu will offer a variety of char-grilled creations at affordable prices.
Not to be missed is the YEN Steak & Fries, which features a prime USDA striploin in its fullest glory. Relish the juiciness and incredible depth of flavour thanks to the gorgeous marbling of the beef. Then, sink your teeth into the YEN Chargrilled Wagyu Burger. Juicy in every bite, the patty is made with minced meat that is a 100% mix of specially selected wagyu cuts. The towering burger is layered with two types of cheese, mushroom and shredded red cabbage.
The indulgence continues with the Chargrilled Iberico Pork with Japanese Shisho Chimichurri. Known for its tenderness and juiciness, the iberico pork jowl is cooked sous vide style for two hours, before being chargrilled to a golden finish. Then it’s time for a seafood treat with the Chargrilled Seafood Bucatini Pasta. It showcases octopus, jumbo prawn, and scallops, all of which are of sashimi grade and are imported directly from Japan.
Temper the meat extravaganza with the Caesar Salad with Wagyu Bits & Shaved Parmesan. Fresh and crunchy, the baby romaine lettuce is generously topped with wagyu bits, providing a crunchy texture and a unique umami punch. At the tasting, you will also get to savour YEN Social’s signature dry-aged steak as well as an array of desserts and coffee.
