This April, prepare for a nostalgic journey to the enchanting world of Beatrix Potter as SKAI, located on Level 70 of Swissôtel The Stamford, unveils its delightful Peter Rabbit™ High Tea. In official partnership with The World of Peter Rabbit™, this charming experience invites guests to step into Mr. McGregor’s garden and relive the timeless adventures of Peter Rabbit and his friends, all while enjoying breathtaking panoramic city views.
Running from April 15th to July 31th, 2025, this special high tea is a collaborative masterpiece by Executive Chef Seumas Smith and Executive Pastry Chef Yong Ming Choong. Their menu beautifully blends nature-inspired ingredients with culinary artistry and creative flair, with each dish serving as a celebration of the beloved characters and the raw beauty of Mr. McGregor’s allotment. Priced at 8++ per adult and 4++ per child (aged 6 to 12), the high tea includes a selection of drinks, with an option to upgrade to a themed cocktail for an additional touch of whimsy.
The savory selection reimagines classic high tea elements with a delightful country garden twist. Indulge in Mr. McGregor’s Garden Sandwich, featuring beef brisket and miso in a soft seed bun with garden-fresh accents. Fisherman’s Haven pays homage to Mr. Jeremy Fisher with Petrosino smoked salmon, cucumber, horseradish, and crème cru. Mrs. Tiggy-Winkle’s Picnic Pie offers a coronation smoked chicken vol-au-vent, while The Forbidden Orchard Tartlet tempts with a rich combination of foie gras and apple, reminiscent of Mr. McGregor’s irresistible red fruit. Other savory highlights include The Garden Croissant with tomato, melon, and honey ricotta, and The Woodland Hideaway, a wild mushroom mousse with parmesan, cep, and sherry vinegar.
